Seismic Performance Assessment of Cured-in-Place-Pipe Lined Cast Iron Pipes
Practical Applications Cast-iron (CI) pipelines make up a large portion of aging water distribution systems in many cities, and their joints are highly vulnerable to damage during earthquakes. This study examines how these pipelines behave under different levels of seismic shaking and how their performance changes when rehabilitated with cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liners.
