I think social media is changing news by making it more short-from, therefore making it easier to consume for the audience.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means to give a voice to those that sometimes don't have one.

Adobe audition, Slack, Google Drive, Canva, and Wordpress.

Why did you become a journalist?
So I can find out everything there is to know about any level of sports.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My high school didn't have one, unfortunately.

My 'Sinners' movie review.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

When's the best time to pitch you?
Whenever! I try to stay available at all times for reporting.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
To write a profile story on an assistant coach at Sac State.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
I haven't had too many bad ones, since I'm usually the one pitching.
What's your favorite drink?
Usually water, but I love chocolate milk.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I like to stay active, since I spend so much time in front of a screen. I'm probably at the gym.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
I'm a huge fan of The Athletic, The Ringer and Discussing Film.
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
People think I'm best friends with everyone I interview and that's not the case at all.
