PHILADELPHIA – The Temple University field hockey team honored its seniors in style Sunday afternoon, defeating No. 14 Yale, 2-1, at Howarth Field. The Owls (11-6) will look to carry momentum into their season finale at Providence next Friday. The Bulldogs (12-3) saw their six-game winning streak snapped and will close the regular season Friday against No. 4 Harvard. Temple scored twice in the second quarter to build a 2-0 lead before Yale pulled within one late in the third frame.
