I'm a child of the '90s (or the 1900s, as my kids like to say) so, for me, pro sports expansion is just the natural order of things. I came of age as a sports fan in the era of the Marlins and the Rockies, the Panthers and the Jaguars, the Grizzlies and the Raptors, the Mighty Ducks and the Sharks, the Predators and the Thrashers. The, uh, other Panthers. The whole damn MLS. Even the 'new' Browns were technically an expansion team, although the NFL's record books might disagree.
