Matt Gnaizda’s Biography

China Uncensored is an entertainment show that brings China news to an American audience. (Think The Daily Show, but about China). With more than 2 million YouTube subscribers, it is the largest show of its kind. Started in 2012, it is considered the original China news commentary show online.

China Unscripted is a spinoff of China Uncensored, where each week we interview an expert about a China related topic. We used to call it a podcast. Now it has video, so no one is quite sure what to call it.

These shows are owned and operated independently by Matt Gnaizda, Chris Chappell, and Shelley Zhang.
