A dozen New England cheesemakers plan to attend the daylong festival with their sharpest, funkiest and creamiest creations, Stone Cow among them. The Big Cheese marks Stone Cow’s debut as the newest creamery in the state, a milestone that comes as it prepares to celebrate 10 years in August.

Former Manor and Draught House owner launches Prohibition Beer

Savvas Fotiadis, the former owner and operator of The Manor and the Draught House in West Boylston, has launched Prohibition Beer. Fotiadis brews and kegs for The Draught House Bar & Grill, the restaurant he started at The Manor in 2013, and a handful of other restaurants in Central Massachusetts. Prohibition debuted its brews last year to a packed crowd feasting on roast pig in The Manor parking lot. The reception then was solid.
