The Climacool family has taken a circuitious route to the current moment. After briefly exploring a retro for the original tech-forward silhouette in the late 2010s, that product name became a buzzy one once again in 2024, when images of the 3D-printed adidas Climacool hit the timeline and brought with it a ton of renewed attention. That futuristic branch is set to usher in new faces in the coming months, but once again, the World Cup provides an opportunity for a brand new product showcase.

The PUMA MB.05 Lo era is officially upon us, and after chalking off a toxic green “Flourish” and an impending Team Bank series, the new colorway options are coming fast and furious (no pun intended.) With those previous editions exploring simplistic and/or flooded fare, the PUMA MB.05 Lo “Galaxy” or “Bluemazing” now allows the full personality of its namesake to come to the forefront.

We may not be privy to the KPIs, but from an outside looking in, the Miu Miu x New Balance partnership has to have delivered on every front possible. On top of earning cachet for the Boston brand by linking up with a red-hot designer brand, the slim remodel demonstrated that the techy styles they stock so frequently can  comfortably cross over into a low-pro life.
