Washie, based in Lehi, is the company with the smart toilet seat—a sanitary replacement for paper toilet seat covers. Rob Poleki, CEO and Co-founder of Washie, first came up with the idea of a smart toilet seat while helping his four year-old son in a crowded and dirty Salt Lake City Airport bathroom. Seven years later, Washie partnered with Delta SkyClub and now has products in the very same place where the idea began.

On September 6th, 2022, KSL Deseret Digital Media launched Messages on KSL Marketplace. In just four months, the secondhand marketplace has blocked four times more fraud through secure messaging and air-tight algorithms. “Now we're seeing anywhere between 60 and 80% of the new listings posted going live with Messages as the preferred communication,” says Kirk Koenen, Director of Marketing at Deseret Digital Media. Using the Messages feature protects users in multiple ways.

Eltropy, a digital communications platform designed for credit unions and community banks, has announced a partnership with Origence, an Irvine, CA-based lending technology solutions provider for credit unions. Under the partnership, Eltropy will integrate its lending communication capabilities into Origence arc OS, the company’s loan and account origination system. “This partnership is a huge win-win for credit unions and community banks,” says Bill Lynch, VP of partnerships of Origence.
