Thursday will be wet at times with a partly sunny to mostly cloudy sky along with scattered showers and a brief downpour in the morning. It will be warm and windy with wind gusts between 20 mph and 35 mph.

Have an umbrella with you just in case this evening! Weakening thunderstorms are approaching Long Island from the west this evening. Scattered showers and even a brief downpour with a rumble of thunder will be possible this evening and tonight as those continue to weaken and move east. Otherwise, mainly cloudy, warm and humid with lows into Friday morning only dropping into the upper 60s to lower 70s. Thursday is the next weather day with multiple risks for Long Island.

After another beautiful day today, it is a nice, mostly clear and comfortable evening with temperatures falling into and through the 60s. Clouds will gradually increase overnight with lows around 60 degrees into early Wednesday morning. Tomorrow will start dry with a mix of sun and clouds in the morning, but keep an umbrella with you. A few widely scattered showers and even an isolated downpour will be possible in the afternoon and evening.
