1 Signalment, History, and Clinical Findings A 2-year-old female spayed domestic shorthair cat (3.9 kg) was presented to MedVet Cincinnati's Neurology Service for further evaluation of cautious ambulation, head shaking, and lethargy, which had begun 1 month prior and was partially responsive to transdermal buprenorphine, oral robenacoxib, and oral gabapentin prescribed by the referring veterinarian. Neurologic examination revealed severe thoracic and lumbar spinal hyperesthesia.
