WAKE FOREST, NC – In 1922, Eugene O’Neill’s pungent waterfront drama Anna Christie earned the playwright the second of four Pulitzers he would ultimately collect, the most given to any American playwright to date. Just over a decade later, O’Neill would be named a Nobel laureate – well before he wrote the epic works he’s now best known for: The Iceman Cometh, A Moon for the Misbegotten, and Long Day’s Journey into Night.

RALEIGH, NC – Students skipped and wandered around NC State University, buzzing with excitement, wonder, and pride last weekend. On the heels of the NCAA Final Four games and Dreamville Music Festival, Raleigh opened its arms to guests and natives alike. However, the theatre community has managed to escape the campus’ 2024 madness, with University Theatre‘s current production of Ada and the Engine traveling audiences back to 1830…even before there was basketball.
