Privacy coins have generally outperformed the rest of the market during cryptocurrency’s recent woes. Investors have been looking for ways to avoid incoming tax and financial regulations set to hit in the next year, while the launch of new coins like Canton, and the subsequent deals they have struck, have also helped buoy the market. But it is Monero, one of the longest serving and largest privacy coins, that is currently enjoying bragging rights, as it pushes through the $600 price barrier.
