Business Professionals of America (BPA) is an organization which provides opportunities for students entering the world of business to compete among their colleagues in various competitions, which test knowledge in each field. Competitions range from knowledge of medical terminology, interview skills, extemporaneous speech, C# programming, and more. The Medina County Career Center (MCCC) was one of the many area schools who attended the BPA State Conference in Columbus from March 10-11.

Just after surviving a car driving through the restaurant’s front window, Niner’s Diner in Brunswick, Ohio would face yet another, even greater challenge - the Covid-19 Pandemic. Soon after opening their doors’ in 2018, Niner’s Diner became a Brunswick breakfast staple. However, Covid-19 has immobilized the diner’s most loyal customers, the seniors of Brunswick, which led to business being “down” as Ed Niner, Niner’s Diner owner, put it.
