Read Full Bio →My entire journey started early in high school when I entered a written contest for a small blog. I didn't know it at the time, but that would fuel my passion for writing and lead to experiences I never dreamed of.
I've covered minor-league baseball, junior collegiate sports and an MLB game. All of it have provided me experiences I hold close to this day, but most of all I value the opportunities I've been given to tell stories.

I've been a freelance writer since junior college, primarily writing about news involving professional and collegiate sports.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
I've used a typewriter twice, though it was purely for fun and I didn't end up writing on paper.
How is social media changing news?
I think social media can be a powerful tool for reporters to connect with a broader audience, put information out quickly and find more info.
