The life of Nikola Tesla is one of the great American stories, and it is being brought to life onstage with Nikola Tesla “Light It Up” – An Original Rock Opera, which will have its world premiere at Delmar Hall on June 20. With 15 years of theater production under their belts, brothers Mark and John Rodgers are the writers, composers, producers, and overall masterminds behind this rock opera.

Returning for its fifth year, Hysteria Fest will once again take over Arkadin Cinema & Bar and The Heavy Anchor from July 8-12, bringing an international repertory focus on Japanese horror, along with exciting gems from the festival circuit and new films with local ties. Hysteria Fest’s founder and artistic director, Paul Hibbard, is especially excited to see the fest continue to grow both in programming and length, as the fest has now expanded to five days.

Returning for its third year, Social Justice Shorts 2026 features new social justice-focused short plays and monologues, running from June 5-7 at the Jefferson Avenue Mission (2241 Jefferson). The co-production between Bread and Roses Missouri and A Call to Conscience Interactive Theater for Social Change features six new short plays and three monologues from playwrights across the country compiled into a single program.
