Five seasons in, and Netflix’s hit series Sweet Magnolias continues to remind us that family is definitely not perfect, growing up is almost never easy, and some of life’s biggest moments often happen over sweet tea on the front porch (or ya know during a margarita night in a meticulously manicured living room).

Before she was crowned as the West End’s latest Katherine Howard in SIX, Leesa spent a solid year hearing nothing but “no.” Most people would’ve tossed their character shoes into the Thames at that point. Leesa didn’t.

It’s sometimes hard to articulate, but there is a specific, electric kind of joy when watching a friend who has been busting her ass for fifteen years finally (finally!) hit the stratosphere.
