Kasey Kleyn will race for Nitro Motorsports in the ARCA Menards Series West race at Phoenix Raceway this week, the team announced Oct. 12. In addition, the 18-year-old will also compete in a partial ARCA Menards Series schedule in 2027. Kleyn will drive the No. 20 Toyota at Phoenix, his first appearance on the ARCA platform.

The curse is over. Max Verstappen finally broke his Singapore hoodoo with a flawless victory in Sunday’s (Oct. 11) Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix. Although he had finished second multiple times in Singapore, the win had been out of reach for Verstappen, with Marina Bay and the Madring as the only two current circuits he hadn’t won at. But that changed on Sunday, as Verstappen drove imperiously, leading almost every lap on course to a crushing win.

On Sunday (Oct. 11), the NASCAR Cup Series finally returned to the Charlotte Motor Speedway oval for its fall Chase race for the running of the Bank of America 400. Last week, Chase Briscoe had to fend off a hard-charging Kyle Larson in the closing laps to capture the victory at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. This week, Briscoe had to play defense once again, fending off his Joe Gibbs Racing teammate Christopher Bell to notch his second victory in a row.

CONCORD, N.C. — On an attritional late night at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Carson Kvapil and Sam Mayer suffered through tough races with both drivers losing ground on NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series points leader, Sheldon Creed.

CONCORD, N.C. – In only his second career NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series event, 18-year-old racing prospect Carson Brown weaved his way up to a fifth-place finish at Charlotte Motor Speedway after a strong last restart of the race.

The NASCAR Cup Series came to Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday (Oct. 11), and it was something special. Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell took the stage wins, while Chase Briscoe took the checkered flag for the race win. Despite 12 Chase drivers finishing in the top 15, one driver stood out as a top dog, and that was Josh Berry, who earned his third top five of the season. After qualifying was canceled due to rain, Berry started 27th and quickly made ground.

A shift to the night was no problem for Corey Day. The Californian claimed the rain-shifted Blue Cross NC 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday night after holding a hard-charging Jesse Love at bay in the closing laps. This was Day’s fourth win of the season and second in a row, lifting the Hendrick Motorsports prospect to within seven points of Chase leader Sheldon Creed, who finished third.

After opening the Chase with a sixth-place finish and two DNFs, Chase Briscoe has inserted himself into the title conversation — albeit as a longshot — with his second win in as many weeks. Briscoe won the Bank of America 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 11), holding off a last-ditch charge by his own teammate Christopher Bell to take the checkers by half-a-car length on worn tires and not much left in the gas tank. Briscoe led twice for 62 laps, the third-most in the race.

Chase Briscoe held off a hard-charging Christopher Bell to win on a 1.5-mile track for the second consecutive week, this time winning the Bank of America 400 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday (Oct. 11) afternoon. Unlike the Las Vegas Motor Speedway race, runner-up Bell managed to pull alongside Briscoe, ultimately coming up just short at the stripe.
