There is another court case surrounding NASCAR teams, this time involving AM Racing and Sigma Performance Services. AM filed a suit against SPS on June 24 in Iredell County, North Carolina. AM seeks the return of several of its chassis and wants SPS to stop using AM’s intellectual property. AM Racing LLC has filed suit against Sigma Performance Services LLC, seeking the return of several unique car chassis and for Sigma to stop using AM Racing's intellectual property.

Nine races are complete in the ARCA Menards Series season following the Herr’s Snacks 200 at Berlin Raceway on Saturday, June 20. There were three lead changes among two drivers in the 200-lap race, and Max Reaves ultimately triumphed. Reaves’ victory grew Joe Gibbs Racing’s lead in the owners’ point standings. In the drivers’ standings, Jake Bollman stayed the points leader ahead of his Nitro Motorsports teammates Thomas Annunziata and Isabella Robusto.

NASCAR stays in California for its next race weekend at Sonoma Raceway. The road course will host the NASCAR Cup and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series. The 36 chartered entries are the ones on the Cup entry list, with zero open teams. The 36 Cup drivers will complete in the Toyota/Save Mart 350 on Sunday, June 28 at 3:30 p.m. ET with TV coverage provided by TNT.
