Shreveport Police Department detectives are searching for 36-year-old Christopher D. Christaw after he failed to report for a mandatory interview regarding an ongoing child sex crime investigation. According to authorities, detectives from the Sex Crimes Unit initially contacted Christaw after a child under the age of 13 disclosed details of an alleged sexual assault during a forensic interview. Though Christaw agreed to turn himself in for questioning, he did not appear on his scheduled date.

Shreveport Police have arrested two suspects following an attempted check fraud incident that led to a vehicle chase. SPD was contacted after representatives from Barksdale Federal Credit Union, on Youree Drive, reported an attempt to cash a fraudulent check. The suspects, identified as Jaderria Williams and Desmond Anderson, fled from the location in a vehicle, leading officers on a chase that ended on Bert Kouns Industrial Loop after the car crashed. Both Williams and Anderson were detained.

KNGT | Louisiana —I don't know about y'all, but this Louisiana Summertime heat has been wearing me down. The walk outside to  check the mail, or throw something in the trash, and before you know it, your shirt's sticking to your back, I dont like it! That got me thinking.
