The Houston Astros reversed Mike Burrows’ recent option to the minor leagues and placed the right-hander on the 15-day injured Monday list with right elbow neuritis. The move is retroactive to last Tuesday, the day Burrows was sent down and one day after he allowed 10 runs (seven earned) over 4 1/3 innings against the Washington Nationals. Houston initially optioned him to Triple-A Sugar Land, but the assignment was nullified because of the elbow issue.
