The funding, provided by the FM Area Foundation, will cover the cost share required to catalog, clean and relocate an estimated 30,000 artifacts currently housed in an overflow storage building.

The grants, distributed through the Federal Aviation Administration’s Airport Improvement Program for fiscal year 2026, aim to modernize runways, update safety features, and upgrade terminal areas statewide.
