Police investigating assault in downtown Fargo

FARGO (KFGO) – Police are investigating after an argument led to an assault this Tuesday morning in downtown Fargo. Around 3:30 a.m., officers were called to the 500 block of Broadway N. They say two males were arguing over some property. The suspect assaulted the victim with a blunt object and left the scene. He has not been found. A Fargo Police sergeant says information is limited and a description of the suspect is not yet available. The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening.

Dunseith man dies in single-vehicle crash

DUNSEITH, N.D. (KFGO) – A 49-year-old Dunseith man is dead after a crash Saturday morning. The Highway Patrol says David St. Claire was driving south on 28th Avenue NE south of the intersection with 99th Street NE in Dunseith just before 2 a.m. when he lost control of his pickup around a curve. The pickup hit a tree. St. Claire was not wearing a seatbelt. He died at the scene.

SWAT team arrests man after gunshot in south Fargo

FARGO (KFGO) – A 19-year-old Fargo man is in the Cass County jail after being accused of threatening another person and firing a gunshot at him. Police say around 2:30 a.m. Friday, an officer was on the phone with the victim after he reported a threatening text message from Henok Francis. The victim told the officer he saw Francis and shortly after the officer heard a bang that turned out to be a gunshot. Officers responded to the 4300 block of Estate Drive S.
