New York State law has already mandated the removal of Native American iconography from all public school districts in the state.

Thousands of revelers had to be cleared from Harbor Island Park Saturday evening (July 4) as heavy rain and winds gusting to 70 mph swept through.

Mamaroneck was one of ten communities benefitting in this second round of grants from the Municipal Parks and Recreation (MPR) Program; and only one of four getting the maximum $900K.
