Former attorney convicted of attempted murder after trying to shoot ex-wife in restaurant
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG/Gray News) - A former attorney accused of trying to shoot and kill his ex-wife inside an Ohio restaurant full of patrons has been convicted, authorities said. A Lucas County jury found Matthew Exton, 43, guilty of attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault and multiple firearm specifications. The jury found Exton not guilty on a remaining count of felonious assault. On April 11, 2025, Exton ordered a drink at the bar inside a restaurant in Toledo.

Kane Brown draws thousands to free UW-Madison concert
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Thousands of students packed Library Mall Saturday night for a free Kane Brown concert as part of Amazon Music’s “Off to College” campaign. The event included a block party, a set from DJ D-Nice and a performance from Brown, with the concert also livestreamed for viewers outside Madison. Michelle Tigard Kammerer, head of country music for Amazon Music, said UW-Madison stood out as a fitting location for the event.
