ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV/Gray News) - Six students were treated after experiencing heat-related symptoms Saturday during halftime at a high school football game, school officials said. According to the Riverview Gardens School District, Riverview Gardens High School was playing a football game at home against Normandy High School Saturday afternoon.

TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG/Gray News) - A former attorney accused of trying to shoot and kill his ex-wife inside an Ohio restaurant full of patrons has been convicted, authorities said. A Lucas County jury found Matthew Exton, 43, guilty of attempted murder, two counts of felonious assault and multiple firearm specifications. The jury found Exton not guilty on a remaining count of felonious assault. On April 11, 2025, Exton ordered a drink at the bar inside a restaurant in Toledo.

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Months after thousands of beagles began leaving Ridglan Farms, some of the dogs came together again Saturday — this time with their adoptive families. Former Ridglan beagles gathered with adopters, volunteers and animal advocates for the Ridglan Reunion at The Boneyard in Madison, giving those involved in the months-long transfer effort a chance to reconnect and see how the dogs are adjusting to life outside the Blue Mounds breeding and research facility.

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Food, music and crowds filled Capitol Square Saturday as Taste of Madison kicked off its annual weekend celebration. The free festival features more than 90 food vendors, two live music stages and activities throughout downtown Madison. Organizers say this year’s festival also offers more places for visitors to take a break from the crowds, with additional seating and shade options, a recharge area and entertainment.

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Thousands of students packed Library Mall Saturday night for a free Kane Brown concert as part of Amazon Music’s “Off to College” campaign. The event included a block party, a set from DJ D-Nice and a performance from Brown, with the concert also livestreamed for viewers outside Madison. Michelle Tigard Kammerer, head of country music for Amazon Music, said UW-Madison stood out as a fitting location for the event.
