Section of Towpath Trail section closing for repairs in CVNP

The National Park Service says a section of the Towpath in Peninsula between the Boston Trailhead and Lock 3 will be closed between Aug. 24 to Nov. 20. Park officials say a section of the Towpath between Lock 29 and the railroad tunnel − north of Peninsula − is expected to reopen in early September.
