A few years ago several friends and myself decided to start a gaming podcast, our own little place on the net where were could talk about video games and what we liked, what we didn’t and voice our own opinions.
Little did we know that this passion would become the launching board for what we’ve become today. The Outerhaven Productions went from just a simple podcast to a website that has been providing coverage of not just video games, but also comics, mangas, anime, technology and just about anything that you squeeze under the geek culture umbrella. From current news, reviews, monthly podcasts that cover both video gaming and comics, to attending and covering events such as IndieCade, New York Comic Con, PAX East and many others. The Outerhaven Productions has been on a growth spurt as of recent years, transforming from a smaller website to one that receives between 100,000 – 200,000+ unique visitors a month. We’re not a fly by night, deal, we’re legit people. Maybe even too legit… ok, I’ll stop now.

PAX West 2026: Persona 4 Revival Hands-On Preview
At PAX West 2026, we were able to get our hands on the public demo of Persona 4 Revival. This is a remake of Persona 4 Golden, which initially released on the PlayStation Vita before being ported to modern platforms. We had a choice of playing through the opening part of Yukiko’s Palace, which introduces the story and setting of the title, or a later section that showcases more of the remake’s combat mechanics. I chose the second demo, mainly because I already knew the story of Persona 4.
CONTROL Resonant Review – Remedy Has Done It Again
When I first went hands-on with CONTROL Resonant, I had one major concern going into my three-hour preview session: the combat. Moving away from the ranged combat of the original CONTROL in favor of a much more melee-focused system felt like a significant gamble for Remedy Entertainment, especially when the studio had already created such a satisfying combination of gunplay and supernatural abilities with Jesse Faden.
Toshinden Collection Comes To PS5, Switch and PC in 2027
Battle Arena Toshinden is making a comeback, with Edia announcing Toshinden Collection, currently a tentative title, ahead of Tokyo Game Show 2026. The company previously announced plans to bring the first three games in the weapons-based fighting series to modern platforms. Now, the collection offers fans another chance to revisit those early 3D fighters. Whether the collection will include any spin-offs or Toshinden 4, which was released in Japan and Europe, remains unconfirmed.
