Taylor Farms was identified as the source of the lettuce-related diarrhea outbreak in the United States. It is the main supplier of lettuce to the fast-food chain Taco Bell, and its cooperation with federal authorities on the matter led to a series of unintentionally funny responses. The test results for cyclospora, the parasite causing problems in fresh produce, were reported as false positives over the weekend.

It was always the same story in any election cycle: the Democrats would have the larger war chest. It’s been that way forever, which made it funny whenever a liberal complained about money in politics, super PACs, and the Citizens United decision. They were the cash cows.

Kyla Simpson, a Florida woman, is fighting for parental custody of her surrogate children after the intended parent, a Chinese man, never came to the U.S. to claim them, First Coast News first reported. After nearly two years in her care, the children were taken from Simpson and have been in foster care since June 17, after the Chinese man hired a lawyer who filed an emergency child pick up order. It was later learned that passports were being obtained for the boys to be sent to China.

That, they said, was proof enough that things weren't scary and violent out there. They cannot fathom a world where people don't live in big urban areas, order $22 avocado toast from Uber Eats, and use public transportation. Flyover country doesn't exist and people don't actually live lives differently than they do. It's the height of self-centered privilege. And no one, not a single person or institution, is more guilty of this than The New York Times.

It's not news that Oregon is a deep blue state run by leftists. But it turns out the state is a hotbed of the gender mutilation of children, with large numbers of teenagers being diagnosed with gender dysphoria and the widespread distribution of puberty blockers and wrong-sex hormones. This means Oregon has created a generation of mutilated, infertile children who will experience physical and sexual dysfunction for the rest of their lives.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani ran on a platform to streamline the process of opening and running a business in the Big Apple. That was an admission that government red tape and regulations were an undue burden on businesses. But Mamdani is a Democratic Socialist, which means the red tape and regulations are the point. How else can they confiscate wealth without a bureaucrat keeping track of everything you do?
