Western countries stand at a crossroads; the time to act is now. “Muslim minority” countries rarely stay that way. Someone recently pointed out that when Lebanon moved to 15 percent Muslim, the country began to unravel. The influx of large numbers of Palestinians ejected from Jordan is considered one of the destroyers of the delicate Christian/Muslim balance in the country. Today, Lebanon—like Egypt, Iraq, Syria, Turkey and others—is clearly on the “Muslim Country” list.

Every has-been has to give his two cents on what Israel should do. An American friend of mine who lives in a town in Samaria told me a story. He was in Jerusalem and saw someone who looked awfully familiar. Upon approaching, he noticed that it was none other than the actor, Alan Alda—the star of the "M*A*S*H" sitcom. He noticed he was with his wife but was otherwise alone, nobody badgering him for autographs.

Jews Are Being Removed From Polite Society

Jews will be in the West; in many places they simply will not be welcome. My friends and I are having a hard time wrapping our heads around the current Jew hatred seen in North America and Europe. We grew up in an America in which being Jewish meant nothing negative. We went to the same schools, played in the same sports, and, growing up in a not particularly religious home, ate at the same restaurants. We didn’t experience even a whiff of anti-Jewish behavior.
