In 2012, an elephant trampled Bote's parents to death near Chitwan National Park. According to Kathmandu Post, the family fled nine miles away for safety. Sadly, the elephant named Dhurbe tracked them down 14 years later.

An Idaho man is lucky to be alive after being bitten by a rattlesnake. He ended up needing 54 vials of antivenom. "I got bit twice, and one of the bites, where it was was kind of a shallow, but the other one got my vein," Chris Howarth told SFGATE. "... I went inside. My wife thought I was joking." He was bitten on May 26 after checking a waterline in his parents' backyard. The incident happened in California. His wife, Jenny Howarth, drove him to the hospital.
11-Year-Old Loses Hand After Being Attacked by Alligator
A 11-year-old suffered life-altering injuries after being attacked by an alligator. He was visiting Florida with his family from Pennsylvania when a gator mangled his hand. Sadly, it could not be saved. The incident happened at Nelson Fish Camp on July 7. The 11-year-old had been fishing near the shore when an alligator attacked and bit him. "The victim was transported to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. An FWC law enforcement officer dispatched the 8'7" alligator," the FWC confirmed.

A Florida fisherman is very lucky to be alive after a run-in with an alligator. He fought off the reptile with his fishing pole after it attacked him. 71-year-old James Grayson McMicken survived his encounter with the alligator by striking the animal with the fishing pole and digging his thumb in its eye. McMicken was just trying to enjoy some fishing in Fort Myers behind his home. That's when an alligator attacked him and his bulldog, sinking its teeth into McMicken's right leg.

"I remember looking down, and I just see [the shark's] head, and this head's well over a foot wide," he continued.

A 12-year-old child was reportedly attacked by a bison while at Yellowstone National Park. The incident happened on June 26 near the Mud Volcano area. According to a news release, the bison attacked the 12-year-old during the morning. The child needed emergency services and was transported to the hospital. "The whole front of her body, all the way down to basically the muscle and the bone, is burned," Michelle Gabbert told Arizona's Family. Her mother, Betty-Lou Summer, suffered horrific burns. She apparently fell asleep in a metal chair at a community pool in San Tan Valley on June 11. Now, she's in critical condition.
