New information about alcohol laws and underage drinking; and updated information about swimming and water sport safety, quad biking and mopeds, wildfires and medication has been shared by The Foreign Office (TFO). Drink-driving is a serious offence in Greece, TFO warned.

A mum-to-be was handed a devastating three-year life expectancy while 14 weeks into her pregnancy Thouhida Chowdhury, 29, received the terminal lung cancer diagnosis during her second trimester, and tragically her four-week-old daughter will likely never know her mother beyond toddlerhood. The family are now racing against time to create precious memories together over the coming 24 months while they're able.

Merseyrail services face major disruption

Some Merseyrail services are facing "major" disruption this evening due to a problem on the lines. Merseyrail services on the Southport line are currently disrupted and can't run between Hillside and Southport, due to signalling problems at Southport. Merseyrail said the disruption is expected to last until around 9.30pm. Trains are running between Hillside and Liverpool in both directions.
