20 Years After Its Release, 'Center Stage' Still Holds Up
In 2000, I was a 10-year-old dancer who took classes three or four nights a week and believed that my path was heading straight to Broadway. I was obsessed with old Hollywood musicals and danced every second I could. At the time, there weren't many films to look at for modern representations of dance — until Center Stage, one of the most pivotal dance films since Fame, was released. NAIS - Coronavirus (COVID-19) Guidance for Schools
By Megan Mann, NAIS Legal Counsel Last updated: April 15, 2020 Important Reminder This situation is evolving by the hour. Every school is struggling with what decisions are the “right” ones to make and, in many instances, we may not know what is “right” until we have the benefit of hindsight. Even then, we may not know. With that in mind, the “right” decision is one that considers public health guidance, the law, your school’s mission and culture, and your community’s safety.

Sometimes, the Internet makes you think that you've seen and read it all. But then sometimes, it provides you with a story that is so wild, you can't help but laugh. This is one of those. USA Today reports that Eric M. Stagno, a Massachusets resident, was charged with "indecent exposure, lewdness and disorderly conduct" when he took the "judgment free zone" mantra of his local Planet Fitness a little too far. Upon entering the gym, Stagno stripped down and proceeded to exercise in the buff.

Shortly after Deadpool 2 blessed us with a plus-sized superhero, we might get a plus-sized female superhero in the foreseeable future, Variety reports. For some of us ladies, it's been difficult to identify with the current women superheroes.
An Ohio Bahama Breeze Manager Called The Cops On A Black Sorority - Now, He No Longer Works There

Guys, A 'Daria' Revival Is Happening & I'm Pleasantly Optimistic
One of the best parts about MTV back in the late '90s and early '00s was staying up late and watching their TV shows before the midnight block of music videos would start. (Yes, they really used to play hours of music videos at night. Crazy, right?) I would hope my parents wouldn't catch me watching the racy college show Undressed, and would laugh at Clone High and Celebrity Death Match. But my absolute favorite? Daria.

Shay Mitchell Wants Everyone To Realize That Social Media Doesn't Reflect Reality & All I Gotta Say Is THANK YOU
We live in a digital age that is heavily dependent upon social media. That's where we get our news, the information the news isn't telling us, take fun quizzes to take our mind off of things, network, catch up with friends and get jealous. Yes, that's right. While social media is great for many things, it can also serve as a very disappointing tool in our daily lives. It's a glorified highlight reel we're seeing rather than the whole picture.
Muslim Women Are Challenging Period Stigma During Ramadan & It's Some Badass Faith Community Activism
For something that is natural and sometimes unwanted by women, periods carry a heavy stigma. Though it is natural and it's something that all women will experience, talking about periods is a big no-no. You can't talk about how bad your stomach hurts, what your flow is like and there are some who still wish we would hide boxes of pads or tampons at the register so they don't see what we're dealing with. After all, it's seen as private and not something to be shared.
