What was your first job as a journalist?

My first job as a journalist was with a local publication. My beat was town council and police and fire.

What's your favorite social network?

My favorite social network is Twitter. I can usually find the scoop to some great local stories that wouldn't make national news.

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

I'm a big fan of Paula Abdul so when I got the opportunity to interview her before her latest tour, it was an awesome experience!

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Trust your gut! If you think something doesn't seem right about a story, investigate it. 99.9% of the time, you'll be happy you did!
