Via email, social media messages, and in-person meetings.

Trello, phone recordings, Google Docs, AP & Chicago style books, and occasional transcription services.

Instagram (I miss old-school Twitter)

Why did you become a journalist?
To tell great stories about what's happening around us, to raise awareness to issues, and to connect others through the written word.

Yes, as a writer and head copy editor.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
To lead with your best question because sometimes you'll only be able to ask one.

An opera singer who was using brain-assist technology to regain her voice and singing abilities following a coma.
