Information about DUI treatment providers’ work experiences during COVID is lacking. This study used a retrospective pretest–posttest design to assess changes suggested by theory in the experiences of 56 DUI counselors’ job demands, resources, burnout, engagement, and outcomes during Pre, Early, and Late COVID. From Pre- to Early COVID, providers experienced greater Emotional Work Load and Changes in Job Tasks, and worsening Feedback, Satisfaction with Position, and higher Turnover Intentions.

Summer is almost over, and it's time for senior citizens to head back to camp. For the third consecutive year, the Virginia Beach United Methodist Church will host a three-day, mornings-only camp designed specifically for seniors. The camp will be held Tuesday through Aug. 20. It costs $20 and is open to all seniors in the community. "We wanted to have something fun, educational and inspirational for seniors," said Martha Jo Wilson, planning team leader.
