1 Introduction Adult neurogenic lower urinary tract dysfunction (ANLUTD) has a prevalence of 40%–90% in patients with multiple sclerosis, 37%–72% in patients with Parkison's disease, 15% in patients with a stroke, 70%–84% in patients with spinal cord injuries, and 40%–60.9% in patients with spina bifida [1]. In some cases, NB may be associated with detrusor sphincter dyssynergia (DSD), an impaired coordination between the detrusor and urethral sphincters during voiding [2].
