Dear Editor, Light-chain (AL) amyloidosis is a rare and life-threatening plasma cell dyscrasia characterized by the production of immunoglobulin free light chains (FLCs) that misfold and deposit in vital organs, leading to organ failure [1]. The mainstay of treatment is the suppression of amyloidogenic FLC production using anti-plasma cell therapy. Achieving a rapid and deep hematologic response is essential for improving organ function and reducing early-mortality [2].
