This was driven by the strong performance of listed, Singapore-based portfolio companies and realized gains of key divestments, such as in seed supplier Axia Vegetable Seeds Group and power company Schneider Electric, the state-owned investor said.

Kadan Capital, the AI and fintech-focused VC firm, is probably as lean as VC firms go. The two-year-old company has just three full-time employees, which includes former Antler investment manager Felix Frenzel, who is Kadan’s founding partner. Despite this, the firm has made eight investments so far this year, another six in 2025, and four the year before.

B Capital, the US investment firm co-founded by Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin, has raised US$500 million in capital for the final close of its Ascend Fund III, the firm announced today. The new fund will invest in sectors such as healthcare, enterprise, energy, and the next frontier, and it will target firms across North America and Asia.
