Interview

What was your first job as a journalist?

I was a writer for a brand new beauty retailer. Sadly, the company has now disappeared, but it was a great job with some fantastic people.

Who do you wish followed you?

It would be amazing if Anita Bhagwandas followed me, I've been hugely inspired by her and her writing for a few years now!

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I did! I was a writer for the Hasting Herald at my school in the midlands.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Keep going - it's not easy, but if you want it you will get there eventually!

When's the best time to pitch you?

Any time!

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Probably in a book, at a restaurant, or outside somewhere!
