I am a reporter covering the state Capitol in Olympia, Washington.
When I'm not writing about the Legislature and government agencies, I manage Capital Update, a mobile and tablet app for state government news.
My background includes training in HTML and Web design.
I also am experienced at taking photos using digital SLR cameras, a skill I picked up by necessity while running a weekly newspaper with no full-time staff.
