Abstract Germline BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations enable targeted therapies in human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2)-negative advanced breast cancer (ABC). The two poly (adenosine diphosphate-ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors olaparib and talazoparib were introduced into clinical practice in 2018. Limited evidence about their routine clinical use highlights the importance of this analysis.

1. Introduction The prognostic impact of tumor-infiltrating immune cell (TIIC) populations in cervical cancer is still debated, probably due to the fact that prognostic studies on TIICs in cervical cancer cases are limited [1]. This is surprising because the cytotoxic activities of immune cells isolated from gynecologic malignant tumors (including uterine cervical cancers) against various fresh tumor cells were reported more than 30 years ago [2].

Discussion The aim of this study was to evaluate the prognostic impact of subcellular expression of thyroid hormone receptors TRα, TRα1, and TRα2 determined in a large group of BC tissues and correlate the results with clinicopathologic criteria. So far, the role of thyroid hormones and their receptors (TR) in BC patients has not been sufficiently investigated [41].
