Ultrasound-driven mechanical immunomodulation enhances tumor treatment sensitivity: advances from tumor mechanical immunobiology to immunotherapy applications
Abstract Tumor immunotherapy is often limited by microenvironmental heterogeneity and immune tolerance. The mechanical properties of tumors, such as matrix stiffening and elevated interstitial fluid pressure, sustain immunosuppressive programs and create physical barriers that restrict the infiltration of drugs and immune cells, leading to poor therapeutic responses. Targeting these mechanical constraints has thus emerged as a key strategy for sensitizing tumors to immunotherapy.
Preparation, allergenicity analysis and nutritional evaluation of partially and extensively hydrolyzed whey protein peptides
Abstract With the growing focus on health, investigating the potential benefits of whey protein peptides for musculoskeletal health is essential. This study employed enzymatic hydrolysis to prepare concentrated whey protein peptides. The results indicated that optimal conditions for partially hydrolyzed peptides were achieved using alcalase (1500 U/g for 0.5 h), while extensive hydrolysis was produced using alcalase and flavourzyme (3000 U/g, 1:1 ratio for 2.0 h).

Introduction Click to copy section linkSection link copied! Metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) have emerged as a versatile class of nanoporous materials with applications spanning gas adsorption, separation, catalysis and others. (1−3) For gas adsorption/separation, the unique advantages of MOFs are their high porosity and tunable host–guest chemistry.
cxcl18b-defined transitional state-specific nitric oxide drives injury-induced Müller glia cell-cycle re-entry in the zebrafish retina
eLife Assessment Following retinal injury, zebrafish Müller glia reenter the cell cycle and generate replacement cells; this potentially valuable study proposes that injury induces a cxcl18b+ transitional state in Müller cells, which then express nitric oxide, inhibiting Notch signaling and allowing Müller glial cells to reenter the cell cycle. However, the evidence supporting the claims is incomplete, and the authors have made interpretations and conclusions that are not supported by the data.
AI-driven paradigm shift in follicle ultrasound monitoring: from automated segmentation to clinical decision support
Keywords Follicle, Ultrasound, Artificial Intelligence Segmentation Clinical Decision-Making Introduction In assisted reproductive medicine, ultrasound follicle monitoring serves as a critical tool for evaluating ovarian response and determining oocyte maturity. Current clinical practice still largely relies on manual measurement of follicle count and size to estimate the number of retrievable oocytes.
A systematic review of semaglutide-associated kidney injury case reports
Abstract Background: Although semaglutide is widely used due to its efficacy in glycemic control and weight reduction, cases of the associated adverse drug reactions (ADRs), including kidney injury, have gradually increased. This systematic review aimed to summarize reported cases and case series of semaglutide-associated renal injury and their clinical and laboratory features.

cxcl18b-defined transitional state-specific nitric oxide drives injury-induced Müller glia cell-cycle re-entry in the zebrafish retina
Abstract In lower vertebrates, retinal Müller glia (MG) exhibit a life-long capacity of cell-cycle re-entry to regenerate neurons following the retinal injury. However, the mechanism driving such injury-induced MG cell-cycle re-entry remains incompletely understood.

Imaging Biomarker for Quantitative Analysis of Endometrial Injury Based on Optical Coherence Tomography/Ultrasound Integrated Imaging Mode
Abstract Precise evaluation of endometrial injury is significant to clinical decision-making in gynecological disease and assisted reproductive technology. However, there is a lack of assessment methods for endometrium in vivo. In this research, we intend to develop quantitative imaging markers with optical coherence tomography (OCT)/ultrasound (US) integrated imaging system through intrauterine endoscopic imaging. OCT/US integrated imaging system was established as our previous research reported.
Difference in Step-Wise Production Rules of SP Binary Flooding for Conglomerate Reservoirs with Different Lithologies
Abstract : The purpose of this study is to clarify the difference in oil production rules of conglomerate reservoirs with different pore structures during surfactant–polymer (SP) binary flooding and to ensure the efficient development of conglomerate reservoirs. In this paper, the full-diameter natural cores from the conglomerate reservoir of the Triassic Kexia Formation in the seventh middle block of the Karamay Oilfield (Xinjiang, China) are selected as the research objects.
Research on Mathematical Model of Shale Oil Reservoir Flow
Abstract : There are complex pore structures in shale reservoirs, and the nonlinear flow characteristics of shale reservoirs are complicated by stress sensitivity and boundary layer effects. In this research, a new flow mathematical model was established based on capillary model, stress sensitivity and boundary layer effect. The model was verified by the experimental results of Jilin shale oil reservoir, and the influencing factors of flow characteristics were analyzed.
Confined Synthesis of Amorphous Al2O3 Framework Nanocomposites Based on the Oxygen‐Potential Diagram as Sulfur Hosts for Catalytic Conversion

Lonely Individuals Process the World in Idiosyncratic Ways
Discussion Our results suggest that lonely people process the world idiosyncratically, which may contribute to the reduced sense of being understood that often accompanies loneliness. In other words, we found that nonlonely individuals were very similar to each other in their neural responses, whereas lonely individuals were remarkably dissimilar to each other and to their nonlonely peers.

Using Rayleigh Scattering to Correct the Inner Filter Effect of the Fluorescence Excitation-Emission Matrix
Excitation–emission matrix (EEM) spectroscopy has been proven to be an effective tool for offline fluorescence analysis. However, the pretreatment of EEM data requires an additional ultraviolet–visible (UV–vis) absorption spectrum for inner filter effect (IFE) correction. This complicates the instrument structure and increases the test flow, thus hindering the practical application of EEM in environmental online monitoring.

High‐Entropy Prussian Blue Analogues and Their Oxide Family as Sulfur Hosts for Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries
Abstract A library of Prussian blue analogues (PBAs) from binary to high-entropy was fabricated by a facile coprecipitation method. When used as sulfur hosts, high-entropy PBA can act as polysulfide immobilizers and catalysts to achieve high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries. Moreover, metal oxides derived from high-entropy PBA possess good electronic properties, which can prompt the further research of high-entropy PBA derivatives.

Why Should Tryptones Rather Than Bovine Serum Albumin Be Used as Model Proteins to Explore the Interactions between Proteins and Pollutants in Environments?
Because protein is readily degraded in the environment, it is unknown whether “protein-like substances” in environments are a group of intact proteins or a mixture of peptides and even amino acids. In this work, the widely adopted model protein bovine serum albumin (BSA) was compared with tryptones, an assortment of peptides, to evaluate their similarity with the proteins extracted from environmental samples.
