We read with great interest the article by Kawasoe and colleagues, who present a descriptive analysis of age-related trajectories of systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), pulse pressure, and heart rate stratified by sex and body mass index (BMI) categories, drawing on 13 years of health check-up data from 213,058 Japanese adults [1].
