January 6, 2026 Congratulations to the AIA’s Inaugural Public Engagement Award Winners! The Archaeological Institute of America established a new award this year to recognize the broad and important range of outreach conducted by AIA members—the Public Engagement Award.

November 25, 2025 Archaeology Resources, Pathways, and Impact Fair at AIA Annual Meeting Join us in San Francisco for an Archaeology Resources, Pathways, and Impact Fair! Sponsored by the Research and Academic Affairs Committee and its subcommittee on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB), this round-table style fair will provide information and access to a variety of archaeological and educational resources and career and research pathways.

The Archaeological Institute of America would like to congratulate the following individuals, projects, and publications for the exemplifying contributions they make to the field of archaeology. They will be formally recognized at the AIA Awards Ceremony, which will take place during the 2026 Annual Meeting on Friday, January 9 at 7:30 PM (EST) at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square. All are welcome to attend the Awards Ceremony.
