Abstract The research paper explores the binary opposite relationship between eastern victimhood and western masterhood, keeping into consideration the increasing violence against Muslims and the rise of islamophobia in contemporary global politics. It has been argued in the research paper that violence against Muslims is not a new phenomenon rather it is a systematic phenomenon, a continuum of religious rivalry since the times of the Crusades.

The Shifting Empire Turkey was the proud custodian of the Ottoman Empire for over 450 years, the fall of which gave way to Kemal Atatürk‘s “Modern and Secular Turkey” in 1924. This period lasted until 1950 when the first multi-party democratic elections were held in Turkey, which was followed by what can be termed as a period of “Failed Islamization” that lasted until 2003.

The US Bids Adieu to Afghanistan? Antony Blinken, Secretary of State in the Biden administration, wrote a letter to Ashraf Ghani, President of Afghanistan. The letter came after the Biden administration had announced previously that it would review the decisions taken by the Trump administration with regard to Afghanistan and the Middle East. According to the contents of the leaked letter, the review of the decisions is still underway.
