We herein report a case of severe rhabdomyolysis in a previously healthy 14-month-old infant. Born full term following an uncomplicated pregnancy, she is the second child of nonconsanguineous parents of European descent. Medical history includes a 24-hour stay in the neonatal unit for signs of discomfort at birth. Additionally, her parents report a series of recent viral infections, none of which required hospitalization.
