Born and raised in Northern California. While in California, I worked with the Brentwood Press, as well as online outlets such as Bleacher Report as well as Sportsnaut. While at the latter, many of my articles appeared on the front page of MSN.com.

In July of 2019, I moved to Northern Arizona to take a job with the Sedona Red Rock News and Larson Newspapers as the sports reporter.

Did the New England Patriots illegally simulate the Atlanta Falcons on a critical play in Week 9's win? While Falcons coach Raheem Morris says they did, Patriots coach Mike Vrabel says otherwise. Trailing 24-23, Atlanta faced a second down from the New England 48-yard line. The play was quickly busted, as Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was not expecting the snap. Facing a heavy Patriots pass rush, Penix quickly threw the ball away, which was called intentional grounding.

'The product's just not very good'

Referee Alex Moore got a lot of screen time during Monday night's game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos. Late in the third quarter of the game, Troy Aikman made it clear that he was not a fan of what he was seeing. On one play, Denver's Alex Palczewski was penalized for a blindside block. Rules analyst Russell Yurk signed off on the penalty, saying it was a "good call." And while Aikman agreed that the call was right, he wasn't convinced that it needed to be made.

MNF broadcast included Joe Buck singing along to 'Let It Whip'

We can't imagine "Joe Buck singing along to 'Let It Whip' by Dazz Band" was on too many 2025 Bingo cards, nor do we imagine anyone who saw it on their card was feeling particularly good about it hitting. But during Monday night's game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos, that's exactly what we got. As the ABC broadcast returned from a commercial break early in the first quarter, " Let It Whip " was playing. Buck was singing along, then continued once the recording of the song stopped.
