Graduate students’ career aspirations: insights into influencing factors and expectations
Abstract Career decision-making represents a critical transition point for graduate students, particularly in contexts where misalignment between higher education outcomes and labor market opportunities persists. Despite increasing concerns regarding graduate employability, limited empirical research has examined how multiple factors jointly shape graduate students’ career aspirations, especially in developing countries.
AI Augmented Confocal Laser Endomicroscopy for Rapid Intraoperative Diagnosis of Brain Tumors
Abstract Intraoperative diagnosis is important for brain tumor surgery. Although frozen section (FS) remains the standard, its time demands and logistical limitations hinder real-time decision-making. Confocal laser endomicroscopy (CLE) offers rapid high-resolution imaging for efficient diagnosis. This multicenter prospective trial evaluated the diagnostic performance of CLE while developing a novel Swin Transformer–based AI diagnostic model. A total of 461 biopsies from 376 patients were analyzed.

Rapid cycle deliberate practice simulation with standardized prebriefing and video based formative feedback in advanced cardiac life support - Scientific Reports
Abstract Rapid-cycle deliberate practice (RCDP) is a training method involving brief, repetitive practice cycles with immediate feedback. This study examined the effectiveness of RCDP simulations in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training compared to traditional methods. A nonequivalent control group design was applied.

Healthcare | Free Full-Text | Virtual Reality Simulation for Advanced Infection Control Education in Neonatal Intensive Care Units: Focusing on the Prevention of Central Line-Associated Bloodstream Infections and Ventilator-Associated Infections
2. Materials and Methods 2.1. Study Design This study used a non-equivalent control group pretest-post-test design to identify the VR_AICENICU program’s effects on infection control knowledge, confidence, presence, empathy, and program satisfaction in NICU nurses. 2.2. Participants This study included NICU nurses working in two general hospitals. Both hospitals have similar numbers of beds, nurse staffing, and patient characteristics, but they are located in different regions.
Effects of Virtual Reality Simulation Program Regarding High-risk Neonatal Infection Control on Nursing Students
Abstract Purpose Virtual reality simulation can give nursing students a safe clinical experience involving high-risk infants where access to neonatal intensive care units is limited. This study aimed to examine the effects of a virtual reality simulation program on Korean nursing students’ knowledge, performance self-efficacy and learner satisfaction. Methods A nonequivalent control group design was applied.
Predictors of nurse-reported quality of care in neonatal intensive care units in Korea
Highlights • Nurse-reported quality of care (NQoC) can be applied in hospital evaluations. • Nurses' NICU work experience and nurse staffing level were predictors of NQoC. • NICU nurses' intent to leave and job satisfaction were also predictors of NQoC. Abstract Purpose This study aimed to investigate predictors of nurse-reported quality of care (NQoC) in neonatal intensive care units (NICU) in Korea.

Diagnostic accuracy of contrast-enhanced dynamic CT for small hypervascular hepatocellular carcinoma and assessment of dynamic enhancement patterns: Results of two-year follow-up using cone-beam CT hepatic arteriography
For the 297 HCCs, the enhancement patterns according to size were as follows: type I ≥1 cm in 114 HCCs; type I <1 cm in 40 HCCs; type II ≥1 cm in 16 HCCs; type II <1 cm in 37 HCCs; type III ≥1 cm in 12 HCCs; and type III <1 cm in 10 HCCs. The remaining 68 HCCs (22.9%) were not detected on CT. The detection rates of HCCs ≥ 1 cm were 83.1%, 76.8%, and 83.1% in the formal report for reviewer 1 and reviewer 2.

Nurses' handoff and patient safety culture in perinatal care units
To examine nursing handoff, identify causes of handoff errors, evaluate current methods of handoff and determine the factors associated with handoff evaluation in delivery rooms and neonatal units of hospitals in South Korea. Handoff is a critical communication process in clinical settings. Less attention has been paid to the handoff practice to assure safe perinatal care in hospitals. A total of 291 nurses participated in the study.
Diagnostic accuracy of gadoxetic acid-enhanced MR for small hypervascular hepatocellular carcinoma and the concordance rate of Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System (LI-RADS)
C-arm CT performed during trans-arterial chemoembolization (TACE) allows the detection of hypervascular tumor with high spatial resolution with a thin slice thickness [ 10 ]. In addition, the intra-arterial bolus injection of contrast medium for C-arm CT leads to better contrast-to-noise ratio, especially for hypervascular HCC, than that of CT and MRI [ 11 , 12 ]. According to previously published reports, C-arm CT has been shown to have sufficient image quality for detecting HCCs [ 13 – 15 ].

ARAP, a Novel Adaptor Protein, Is Required for TCR Signaling and Integrin-Mediated Adhesion
A novel adaptor protein was identified by analyzing phosphotyrosine proteomes from membrane rafts of activated T cells. This protein showed sequence similarity to a well-known T cell adaptor protein, adhesion and degranulation-promoting adaptor protein (ADAP); therefore, the novel protein was designated activation-dependent, raft-recruited ADAP-like phosphoprotein (ARAP). Suppression of ARAP impaired the major signaling pathways downstream of the TCR.
