What was your first job as a journalist?
I currently don't have a first job as a journalist but eventually I want to work as a sports announcer for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
I have never used a typewriter before.
How is social media changing news?
Social media has significantly transformed how news is consumed and shared. It allows for real-time updates and enable news to spread quickly and widely
What does it mean to be a journalist?
Journalism is the art of telling compelling, accurate stories that inform and engage the public. It's about uncovering the truth, verifying facts, and presenting them in a way that resonates with and educates readers.
Why did you become a journalist?
I became a journalist because I love storytelling and I am curious about the world, and I want to be able to uncover stories to people.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My high school didn't have a newspaper.
When's the best time to pitch you?
The best time is Fridays after 12pm.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
I haven't gotten any pitches yet.
What's your favorite drink?
My favorite drink is Pepsi.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
I am most likely on my couch watching some tv or cooking in my kitchen.
Aside from your own, what's your favorite publication to read?
My favorite publication to read are poetry books and romance novels. I really love the author, John Green.
