USA Cycling announced the full 10-race calendar for the new criterium racing series it is organizing in 2022 to replace the now-defunct USA CRITS series. Several of the races that are part of the new series were part of the USA CRITS calendar. The demise of USA CRITS came swiftly this fall after it was revealed that longtime USA Crits managing director Scott Morris was serving a ban imposed by SafeSport. Teams pulled their participation from the series even after Morris had been fired.
