1 hour ago New Territories, Hong Kong - November 26, 2025 A No. 5 alarm fire tore through Wang Fuk Court in Hong Kong’s Tai Po district on Wednesday, November 26, engulfing seven of eight 31-story public housing towers wrapped in bamboo scaffolding. Thick smoke triggered evacuations, roads were shut, debris fell, and firefighters and police responded at scale. Officials confirmed at least 65 deaths, with nearly 300 still missing.
